Troop 146 delivers a program to our youth that is based on principles that have endured for more than 110 years:

  •     Do a Good Turn Daily
  •     Be Prepared
  •     Help Other People at all times
  •     Do Your Best

Here in 146, youth are benefiting from Scouting and Learning for Life programs. In the last year, over 300 hours of community service was logged by our Scouts and provided service and leadership to your community through their projects.

Annual Food Pantry Drive

Over 90 bags of food was collected for the West Hartford Community Food Bank.

Scouting in Troop 146 will continue to:

  •     Offer young people responsible fun and adventure;
  •     Instill in young people lifetime values and develop in them ethical character as expressed in the Scout Oath and Law;
  •     Train young people in citizenship, service, and leadership;
  •     Serve America's communities and families with its quality, values-based program.

The CT River Council is funded entirely through donations and program revenue from individuals, foundations and corporations. Our success is due to friends and supporters in the community.
